Share the water well
Busy sandbars work best when every boat gives others room, keeps wakes down, and leaves the area cleaner than they found it.
Arrival
Approach slowly, watch swimmers, understand the bottom, and set the anchor with enough swing room. If the spot is too tight, choose another one.
While anchored
- Keep music reasonable around families and nearby boats
- Watch lines, ladders, anchors, and guests in the water
- Secure trash and light items before wind picks up
- Avoid blocking another boat's safe exit route
Departure
Account for every guest, stow gear, retrieve the anchor carefully, and idle out until clear of swimmers and anchored boats.
